Hello!

Great site, nice to see that someone finally has made a serious sec.ops site. Great work!

However, I would request that you update the information regarding the Norwegian units.

The Home Guard (Heimevernet)has its own CT/Recon units, which recruit retired personell from the various army/navy units exept FSK. The units are formed in every large home guard area, and they train on executive protection, home guard QCB capebillity, and recce and sharpshooter skills. They train on a "weekend" basis, but have more then 10times as many exercise days then the rest of the guard.

One other thing:

"Oppklaringseskadronen - (Recce Sqn) - Norwegian Recce Units" is NOT a special ops. unit. It is furthermore not ONE sqn. but several units belonging to CAVALRY batallions or regiments!!!. All the soldiers exept the officers are conscripts, and they get more or less the same training as solidiers in an infantry Bn. Recce platoon......

I know they like to think they are all that, but its wrong to compare them with:

Haerens Jaegerkommando - (Army Ranger Command)- Army Special forces

Marinejaegerkommandoen - (Naval Ranger Command)- Naval special forces

FSK - (Defence Special Command) - Norwegian CT group

They are norways true spec.ops units!

Sincerly yours

Anders Forseth ex.Infantry Recon/Infantry Rifle

This is such an impressive site and I hope that every proud American will visit this page in their life time. Make history :) You are history and will always be remembered and admired. A special thanks goes out to the old timers of SF who made it possible to have SOG units and Special Ops. As the summary of Spec ops states, in Vietnam the numbers were thinning yet they kept giving all they had with repeated tours to Nam and allowing time for future plans to be made. De Oppresso Libre to all of you. CNC

Nice to see that warrior pride still presents itself in the current realm of politically correct. Maintain the standard and never compromise. Please do not let the machine squash the spirit and pride of those trained to place the bullet between the eyes of the enemy. Liberate the opressed, lest we become opressed ourselves.

Hello! I'm from Belgium.I'm not a military guy, but I'm very interested in the world of the special forces. In my opninion, I find this a very good site if you want to know more about special warfare. But you learn also that war is absolutely no fun.It is good to know that there are people who sacrifies their live for our protection. It's here where I get all my info about secret forces. I discovered that even Belgium has a kind of special units. I hope I will know more about it in the future.

Can you set this guestbook so people can read entries? Go look at the 75th Association site's guestbook. I like that. I didn't do it, or even the graphics for it, if I remember correctly. But it's nice in that it is searchable and allows you to view blocks of entries.
